It's alright
The staff's height was perfect, but when I first got it, I noticed the taper was definitely off, it wasn't really centered correctly. The staff is also very sticky so if you're doing movements that needs to switch hands or leave your hands really fast it'll feel weird, for this staff I would suggest getting a grip. Other than that, it's semi-lightweight and it spins very well.

good starter staff
This is a good starter staff for our child. The only thing that should be noted is that it is a rough texture, which makes it not as easy to slide through the hands. But over all it is great

Great Bo Staff
Great quality and good balance. Make sure you buy the right size if you are buying for a youth. My daughter loves the cool crackled look of this staff and she is happy that it is different than all the other staffs in the dojo. Easy ordering and quality shipping. Great job, will buy again!

good purchase
Got the 5' blue/black bo staff for my 10 year old son. He loves it, and so do the other kids in his karate class. It is lightweight, finely textured, and a good diameter for his smaller hands. I believe it is wood.

Great Bo Staff
The bo staff is so much better looking in person! My son was thrilled to open the package. When he took it to the dojo, other students openly expressed an interest in it. GREAT CHOICE!
