Received my staff on time, well packaged and in good shape. It did have some cosmetic spots which I appreciate. To me it adds character. It feels great in my hands and although probably all in my head, I think I'm a little better with the rattan already. It is about the weight that I was used to but it just performs better IMHO. Love it. I'd give it more stars if I could.

Awesome bo staff!
Searched the web for a rattan bo for reasonable price and found karate supply was the best deal around. Arrived on time. Flexible and light and otherwise perfect for this beginner.

This thing is great for me. I’m learning the no staff via YouTube videos, just as a fun thing to add to my day. I love how pliable this staff is! Came fairly quick too

Minor complaint
Can not complain about the staff itself. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the staff pictured is not what I got. Instead I received a staff that was decorated with a brown stripe all the way up. So there is a contrast of light wood and dark. Think of a candy cane. Hideous.

Perfect rattan staff

Amazing quality, a little heavier than my old staff but perfect craftsmanship and the wood isn't just hard and stiff, but also hard and somewhat flexible yet stable if that makes sense. 5 stars all the way!

The staff is warped slightly at one end and isn't straight, I am a beginner though so it doesn't make me much of a difference.

Pretty good bow staff
I received my no staff within a week. I like the staff overall but it had a couple knicks in it. Had to sand them down a little. But great staff I must say.

straight rattan bo staff
5 ft is highly recommended for an 8 yr old. lacquered natural finish is very smooth and durable enough for light sparring. the rattan is extremely flexible making it resistant to shattering and it is light enough for staff tricks but provides enough weight for building endurance. as rattan is naturally grown, the staff I received was extremely straight and consistent diameter.

I received my staff today and everything was fine except i was hoping for a thicker size this seems very thin and very light and i prefer my staffs heavier

After ordering this bo staff and working with it at home and in training sessions, I have found it to be worth the money. The material is good and sturdy, while still be flexible. I'd recommend this bo staff to anyone interested in getting one for training purposes
