Tapered Hardwood Bo Staff

I used to do Taekwondo back in the day and worked up to my 1st degree black belt by the time I was 11 or 12. I quit after that (can't remember why though, because I remember loving it). I never did much with weapons, mostly just forms/sparring. Well now my 28 year old self has been dying for the last 6 months to get a Bo Staff and learn its ways and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one. And I love it! I've been practicing for at least an hour almost every day since I received it. This staff is absolutely beautiful and it came a day earlier than expected as well. I'm so happy with my purchase and I can't wait to see my progress with it over the rest of the year.

Thanks for the very nice stick ...... I received it quickly ... The grain is straight and tight The Bo is strong with a nice flex. ... The finish was nice, however I preferred the natural wood underneath the lacquer. A light sanding easily removed the lacquer and I finished it with a light stain. Came out beautiful and handles great with a natural feel. I’m very pleased with the staff

This bo staff was a delightful surprise. My expectations were not incredibly high due to the very affordable price of this item. However as soon as I opened it I saw that I had recieved a beautiful training weapon. the color and finish were perfect and I love the weight of this weapon.

I am enjoying my staff so far with no complaints. This staff is heavy so don't expect to be going fast with it right away. I have shoulder mobility issues and my practice has been doing wonders for the pain. Highly recommend if you have shoulder, neck, or chest problems.

Good Bo for big fellas . Weight enough Smooth surface

Great quality staff. Good solid weight. You can break a sweat doing basic forms. I'm a beginner though and ordered a foam one to learn tricks too because this staff would hurt quite a bit of you drop it on yourself doing spins.

Very nice Bo for the price. Exactly as described. Been using it for my BO workouts and it being a bit slimmer than my other, a real pleasure to work with. Shipping was prompt and packaging was excellent.

i purchased a set of these in 6ft lengths about a month ago for my son and i to practice. I have say that im quite impressed with the quality and overall feel of these bo's. they are sturdy and seem dense from the report they make when being struck against each other. i could take or leave the tapered ends but it doesn't diminish the fact that this is an overall very good bo and a great value imo.

This bo is well balanced, straight and heavy. The heavy weight is good for training, because it will really help build some strength and control. It would be a 5 star rating if the finish was a little smoother. Mine has a few spots that are rough enough to almost snag on my shirt, but nothing that light sanding can't fix.
